My therapy room is in Middlewich in Cheshire. Social distancing of over 2 metres is in place alongside other safety measures.
I have taken great care to make sure that it is a relaxing and welcoming room and clients repeatedly tell me how much they love it here and how comfortable they feel.
By coming to my specially created therapy space, it allows you to escape your own environment and spend your session in a confidential and safe place.
Middlewich is in the East area of Cheshire. My therapy room is on a main road in/out of the town and is therefore easily accessible to the nearby towns of Holmes Chapel, Sandbach, Winsford and Northwich.
Other nearby Cheshire locations clients have travelled to me from have included Knutsford, Wilmslow, Nantwich and Congleton.
Middlewich is well positioned close to M6 junction 18. My venue is less than 2.5 miles from the M6. This means that locations such as Warrington and Stoke are within a 30-minute drive.
There is an increasing rise in interest in online and telephone therapy. For many people, their day to day lives means that they are comfortable and familiar with video calls, telephone calls, and messaging platforms. I have been delivering remote therapy for as long as I have been working in therapy and there are many benefits of accessing therapy this way:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy has been well-researched through online and telephone delivery. Consistently the results show as the same as face-to-face therapy meaning you are guaranteed the same quality of service regardless of how you access it.
An added benefit particularly of video/skype therapy is that sessions can be recorded, allowing you to save a digital file of our therapy sessions. You have the choice of seeing me and turning your video off if that is your preference.
I deliver sessions remotely in 3 ways:
If you would like to understand more about these options, or ask any questions, please do get in touch.
Lewin street is the A533, the road between Middlewich and Sandbach that becomes Booth Lane.
The business centre is an old Black and White building (previously The White Horse Pub).
During the period of social distancing/lockdown, a number of steps will be in place to protect the wellbeing of my clients.
I have a document detailing the measures taken by me and what you would need to do that will be provided before any face to face appointments are confirmed.

Typically, treatment will be between 6 - 20 sessions.
This will depend on several factors such as how long-standing the symptoms have been, how severe the symptoms are, and how many different problems we were working on.
Following our assessment sessions, I can give you a more accurate idea of how many sessions you should expect.
In addition to my therapy services, I also provide clinical supervision to other Cognitive Behavioural Therapists. I am fully Accredited with BABCP and can assist you in obtaining or maintaining your accreditation status.
I supervise a number of therapists in private practice. As part of supervision sessions, I will support you in building your confidence in running your practice, and answer any queries related to private practice. This is in addition to case supervision guidance, and skills based learning.
I have been providing supervision for several years, and prior to my current private practice worked as a Clinical Lead and Manger in NHS and charity IAPT services.
My clinical work typically falls into 2 groups - successful business professionals and clients with long-standing/complex symptoms.
Supervision is provided as a 1-hour session. Cost is £70 for 1 hour.
